Made 17 starts in 29 matches ... pounded 286 kills ... averaged 3.04 kills per game which ranked first on the team ... rated eighth in the league in kills in conference-only matches, pounding 196 while averaging a team-high 3.70 per game ... totaled 170 digs, 23 total blocks (four solo, 19 assisted) and nine aces ... notched double-digit kill performances in her last 11 matches to total 16 in 2006, including three over the 20-kill mark ... tallied nine matches with double figure digs and nine double-doubles ... posted back-to-back career-high kills and digs matches against Rice and Houston ... hammered 20 kills and had 11 digs against the Owls, then followed with 25 kills and 13 digs against Houston ... hit a season-high .375 (13-1-32) against Marshall.

Named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association 4-A all-state team in 2005 and 2003 ... a two-time El Paso Times All-City honoree while totaling 440 kills, 65 blocks and 261 digs for Burges her senior season ... led the Mustangs to a 21-13 record ... slammed a season-high 25 kills against Andrews High School (Andrews, Texas) ... named tournament MVP at the 2005 Bev Ball Classic in Abilene, Texas ... played for the El Paso Kaepa Sunspots Volleyball Club, leading the team to the Sun Country regional title and the 2005 Junior Olympic Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah ... received all-state honorable mention honors in swimming her senior season.
