Miners Perform Well On Second Day Of Aggie Fall Invite

Coming up just short in the Flight F back draw was Nilsa Ramirez, who was plagued by a three-set setback for the second consecutive day. The freshman jumped out to the lead against Northern Arizona’s Georgie Mills by claiming the first set in exciting manner, 7-6 (7-4).

Pritchard and Chatagner scored an entertaining 8-5 win against a TAMCC tandem in the consolation A doubles.
Bloczynska and Palider joined forces to battle Kalei Gora and Jordan McCombs of Lee. The duo played well, but fell by an 8-4 count.
Also coming up just a little bit short in doubles action was the pairing of Ramirez and Michaud. After surging to a win on Friday, the squad fell at the hands of UNM’s Elisa Bonner and Mackenzie White, 8-4, to put an end to their run in the Flight B Doubles main draw.
