After completing a stellar career and finishing up as part of the winningest class in program history, Megan Pritchard's efforts with the UTEP tennis team will now be in the role of a student assistant coach.

The native of London, Ontario, Canada, will assist at practices and handle other duties as assigned by head coach Jamie Campbell.

Pritchard's playing career at UTEP began during the 2005-06 season. Over the next four years she showed off mental toughness and leadership on the way to finishing with the seventh-most doubles win ever at the school. She checked in eighth all time for doubles win percentage.

She was an instrumental part of UTEP's success, helping the Miners record the most wins at the school over a four-year stretch. Her senior season was especially special, with Pritchard aiding in UTEP setting program records for winning percentage (.696), longest win streak (seven) and top home record (9-1-0). The Miners also equaled the school standard for most triumphs in a year at 16.

She is the daughter of Wayne and Helena Pritchard, and was born on June 24, 1987. She has an older brother, Andrew
