2007-08 (Junior)

Enjoyed her finest season as a Miner by claiming 16 matches ... she had won a combined 14 matches during her first two seasons in the Sun City ... was especially impressive in dual-match play, owning a team-high 13 victories ... sluggish start to the campaign (2-8), but continued to play hard which paid dividends in a big way come January ... straight-set trouncing of Cara Lehman of Montana ignited a sizzling stretch by Brightly in which she won 10 of 12 matches ... included among that was a career-high five-match unbeaten streak ...eight of the 10 victories in the sequence were via straight sets ... overcame falling 6-1 in the first set against Houston's Joanna Kaprzyk at the Conference USA tournament by topping her foe 6-3 and 6-4, respectively, in the final two sets ... named both the "Warrior of the Year" and "Queen of the Miners" at the season-ending team banquet ... member of the C-USA Academic Honor Roll, one of six Miners to be so distinguished.

2006-07 (Sophomore)

Had a limited role on the squad, as she fought through injuries ... compiled a record of 1-3 on the year, but did post a mark of 1-1 in dual-match play ... win came in the Miners' 4-0 triumph over Southern, with a 6-2, 6-3 dispatching of Gabrielle Marshall ... fashioned a record of 4-6 in doubles play, with three of the four wins coming when she joined forces with Vicky Michaud.

2005-06 (Freshman)

Burst onto the collegiate scene by winning six of her initial seven singles matches ... stretch included a perfect 4-0 mark at the Miner Fall Invite ... defeated Aziza Aba Butain of North Texas, 7-6, 6-2, to claim an opening round qualifying draw victory at the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional Tournament ... overall, finished with a singles record of 13-16 ... that mark ranked as the second-best on the squad behind All-Conference performer Teri Wilkerson ... spent the majority of season competing at the No. 6 slot ... four of her wins contributed toward Miner triumphs ... was a perfect 3-0 in three-set affairs, the only player on the squad to do so ... posted a team-best record of 6-5 in tie-break action ... finished the year 6-7 against foes from the Southwest Region ... winning percentage of .462 ranked her second on the team ... went 9-18 in doubles play, but was 7-7 when paired with Vicky Michaud ... picked up seven straight-set victories on the season.

Prior To UTEP

Three-year letterwinner at Chapin High School for coach Lorraine McWhorter ... finished with a combined record of 50-6 in singles and 41-0 in doubles, despite not playing her junior year ... captured the District 1-4A singles title as a freshman and senior ... reached the semifinals of the UIL Region 1 tournament in 2005 ... led the Huskies to the district team championship in the fall of 2004 ... was ranked as high as 14th in singles and second in doubles in 18's ... captured the 2005 Private Line Junior Open singles title in April ... academic honors included membership on the A Honor Roll and the National Spanish Honor Society ... turned down numerous scholarship offers to attend UTEP.
