EL PASO, Texas - The UTEP softball team was blanked by No. 25 Tulsa, 8-0, in five innings on Sunday afternoon at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex. Tulsa ace, Aimee Creger, no-hit the Miners to pick up her 21st win of the season.

The Miners (12-33, 1-19 C-USA) will close the 2013 season in Huntington, W.Va. for a three-game series against Marshall on May 4 and 5.

Seniors Charissa Ballesteros, Ashley Collazo, Kayla Oranger, Cynthia Villastrigo, and Kayleigh Walts played their last game in the Orange and Blue. The seniors were honored after the game as family, friends and teammates gathered for the festivities.

The Miners were eliminated from post-season play after Southern Miss won two games on Saturday against East Carolina. Conference USA takes eight of the nine teams to Tulsa for the conference tournament.
