EL PASO, Texas- The UTEP softball team lost a pair of games to Tulsa on Saturday at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex.

The Miners (12-32, 1-18 C-USA) fell to the Golden Hurricane (36-13-1, 15-5) in six innings, 11-1, and came up short, 5-0, in game two.

Seniors Kayla Oranger and Ashley Collazo hit well in the two games. Oranger, a native of Elgin, Ill. went 4-for-6 with an RBI and Collazo, a native of San Antonio, went 3-for-5. Freshman Danielle Pearsonfinished another game as the native of Orlando, Fla. threw seven innings in game two.

The Miners will complete their home part of the schedule on Sunday's Senior Day at Noon. Admission is free and seniors Collazo, Oranger, Kayleigh Walts, Charissa Ballesteros, and Cynthia Villastrigo will be honored at the end of the game.
