Joseph Anthony Velasquez is entering his first season as an equipment manager for the UTEP softball team. Prior to UTEP, he served as a visiting clubhouse manager for the independent baseball team, the El Paso Diablos. Born in Las Vegas, N.M. in 1986, Velasquez is a communications major with a minor in speech.
