Lexi Goranson will enter her first season as a graduate assistant for the 2017 season. Goranson will assume multiple responsibilities on and off the field throughout the year. Goranson will pursue an MBA degree at UTEP after graduating from Portland State in 2016.

A native of Auburn, Wash., Goranson played her collegiate softball at Portland State. She played her first season with the Vikings under current UTEP head coach Tobin Echo-Hawk during the 2013 campaign.
