After being named Preseason All-Conference USA in 2016, Netane led the Miners with eight home runs. She hit .283 with 20 RBI and 23 runs scored. Netane connected on a career high in home runs (two) and RBI (six) on March 5. Netane was named to the All-C-USA first team after leading the squad in hitting (.357) and connecting on eight long balls with 32 RBI during junior season. She added 10 doubles, four triples and 35 runs. Netane was named C-USA Player of the Week on April 13, 2015 after hitting two home runs with eight RBI and five runs in a sweep against FIU.
