2008 (JUNIOR): Received second team All-Conference USA honors...played and started in 51 of 54 games for UTEP ... batted .307 to rate third on the team ... became UTEP's career leader in runs scored (126), walks (76), hit-by-pitch (22) and assists (258) ... ranked 31st nationally in runs with 41 - a team-high ... tied for the top spot in doubles with 12 ... one of four players to hit a triple ... also tallied 50 hits and three long balls for a total of 20 RBI ... had 14 multiple hit games and three multiple RBI games and posted an eight-game hitting streak from April 12 through 26 ... registered 37 putouts with 81 assists ... posted a season-best three hits vs. Binghamton, Georgetown and UCF and had three runs against Georgetown.

2007 (SOPHOMORE): Played and started in all 51 games for UTEP ... second on the team in batting average at .345 ... posted 47 runs on 51 hits with 11 doubles ... led the Miners in slugging percentage (.601), on-base percentage (.490), runs scored (47), RBI (38), home runs (nine), total bases (89), walks (33), hit-by-pitch (11), total plate appearances (195) and assists (93) ... connected for a team-leading 16 multiple hit games while totaling 11 games with multiple RBI ... also had UTEP's second longest hitting streak with eight from Feb. 10 through Feb. 18 ... ranked nationally in three categories - 27th in hit-by-pitch per game (.22), 31st in walks (.65) and 38th in runs per game (.65) ... finished tied for first in Conference USA for runs scored while owning a spot in seven other league statistical categories - on-base percentage (second), hit-by-pitch (third), walks and slugging percentage (fifth), RBI and batting average (sixth) and home runs (ninth) ... drove in a career-high five runs against Grambling State (Feb. 11) while posting four runs on four hits with two home runs ... tallied a personal-best six assists versus Tulsa (May 5).

2006 (FRESHMAN): Named to Conference USA's All-Freshman team after batting .274 with 37 runs on 46 hits, seven doubles, seven home runs and 26 RBIs ... ranked first on the team and sixth in the league in runs, walks (22) and was hit-by-pitch seven times ... had 11 multiple hit games and six multiple RBI games ... held the second-longest hitting streak in 2006 with nine from Feb. 14-Feb. 23 ... named C-USA Hitter of the Week on Feb. 20 ... recorded a season-high five RBIs against New Mexico (Feb. 18) while also reaching nine bases ... connected for seven doubles on the season, while launching seven home runs ... had three consecutive games with a home run (New Mexico State, Portland State, UC Davis) and followed that with back-to-back round trips against New Mexico...recorded a double in each game of the series against Southern Miss ... stole 5-of-6 bases ... hit 3-for-4 against Alabama A&M with three runs and one RBI.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Two-time first team All-League honoree ... raked in six RBIs, one home run, six doubles, two triples, 12 runs and 20 hits for a .235 batting average as a senior ... scored season-high three runs against Ayala High School ... knocked in three RBIs against Glendora.

PERSONAL: Amber Michelle Bennett is the daughter of Byron and Margie Bennett ... born on Oct. 7, 1987 ... has one sister (Ashley) ... her nickname is "Baby Bennett" or "Nu-Nu."
