U-20 Canadian National Team To Train At UTEP
Oct. 19, 2009
The U-20 Canadian National Team will hold a week-long training camp at UTEP from Oct. 26-31.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to host Canada again at UTEP,” head coach Kevin Cross said. “We have strong ties to Canada, and we are excited to further these relationships. We know they will enjoy our great weather and outstanding facilities.”
The training site is a natural fit for the team, given the multitude of connections there are between Canada and UTEP soccer.
Team Canada will use the Miners’ facilities and train at University Field throughout the week, while also venturing to Mexico for a pair of matches.
