Former Miner midfielder and four-year starter (2010-13) Tori Martyn is in her second year as a program coordinator for UTEP soccer. Her duties include, but are not limited to, game-day filming, and assisting with practice and game-day set-up.
She started 78 of 80 games during her career with the Miners. She logged 6701 minutes of playing time to rate sixth all time in program history while contributing nine goals and 10 assists for 28 points.
UTEP rolled to a record of 44-32-7 during her career, including 12-6-3 in 2013. She was a two-time (2012 & 2013) All-Conference USA performer in addition to being voted to the NSCAA All-Region Central Team in 2013.
Martyn excelled in the classroom as well. She was recognized as a Top Ten senior at UTEP on April 13. She secured four C-USA Academic Medals and was tabbed to a pair of C-USA All-Academic Women's Soccer Teams. Martyn also was a 2013 Academic All-District Honoree.
She was one of 37 student-athletes to graduate from UTEP in May 2014. The St. Albert, Alberta, native boasted a 4.0 cumulative GPA in kinesiology.
