2016 (FRESHMAN):Key cog on the back line who started 21 matches ... helped UTEP equal the program single-season standard for shutouts (11), post its second-lowest goals against average (0.84) and finish tied for the second-fewest goals allowed (19) ... the Miners also had two separate shutout streaks of three consecutive games ... played the entire match 14 times, including logging 110 minutes in scoreless draws at Abilene Christian (8/21) and at CSU Bakersfield (8/26) ... true stay at home defender ... showed instincts and a maturity beyond her years ... missed the game vs. Texas State (9/4) with an injury but still finished tied for the third-most minutes (1,788) among Miner field players ... one of two freshmen (Lauren Crenshaw) to have all of her appearances on the year be starts.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Starred with the Banat soccer club from 2009-13, winning the Arizona State League championship ... squad advanced to the Regionals level in Hawaii ... played with Sereno ECNL from 2013-16 ... club team was coached by Barb Chura, Paul Taylor, and Kai Edwards ... appreciated Barb Chura, who helped her transition her mindset into a higher level of competitive environment and pushed her to reach for more in her own game ... also thankful of Kai Edwards, who broadened her knowledge of the game and improved necessary skills ... captain of Westview High School ... received the Superintendent Award for maintaining a 4.0 or higher GPA and remaining in the top two percent of her class all four years.

PERSONAL: Thankful to God for her health and skills ... also wants to thank her parents for the financial support and by continually increasing her level of play and emotionally being there for her ... has three sisters.
