UTEP Soccer Among Nation's Elite

UTEP's soccer program has piled up 114 wins since 2002, placing it tied for 15th nationally for triumphs in that timeframe.

The Miners have epitomized consistency in the stretch, evidenced by reaching double digits in victories all eight years. A driving force in their success has been a potent offense. UTEP is one of only 11 programs in the country to have accounted for more than 400 goals since 2002. The Miners boast 428 strikes over that period, which is good enough for eighth nationally.

Given its success on the national stage, it should come as no surprise that UTEP is in a class of its own compared to other member insitutions since joining Conference USA in 2005. The Miners boast the top record, at a sensational 74-30-5 for a .765 winning percentage.

Buy A Goal Fundraiser Underway

The "Buy a Goal" Fundraiser is designed to help us fundraise for needed equipment and team activities. Last year the UTEP fundraising efforts accounted for more than $5,000.00. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000.00. With your help, we can continue to provide the equipment and experiences for our very deserving student-athletes and compete with the nation's elite!

How does it work?: Throughout the season, the UTEP Miners will be scoring goals to win games this year. Sponsors, like yourself, will either sponsor a flat donation or a cash amount for every goal scored throughout the season that the UTEP Miners score. When the season is over, the goals will be tallied and your donation will be equal to the amount of goals times your cash amount donated per goal.

For example: If UTEP Soccer scores 30 goals this season and you sponsor a $1.00 per goal, you will donate $30.00 to the UTEP Miners' Soccer Gift Fund.

Your pledge will be the amount you check below times the number of goals that UTEP Soccer scores. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY NOW!!! After the season, we will let you know the results of our efforts and the amount of your pledge. At the time we receive your donation, your gifts will be sent out to you!
