UTEP Women's Golf Team in Eighth Place at Blue Raider Invitational

The UTEP women's golf team is in eighth place through 18 holes of the Blue Raider Invitational on Monday in Nashville, Tenn.

The Miners shot 311 in the first round of the 54-hole tourney, which concludes on Tuesday.

Freshman Camino Sardino shot a four-over-par 76 and is tied for 15th place to lead UTEP. Shang-Fan Huang and Emma Burman are tied for 30th place (78), Teresa Nogues is tied for 41st place (79) and Emma Edin is tied for 48th place (80).

Host Middle Tennessee State leads the 13-team field (300).
