UTEP Women's Golf Team Shoots 627 on Day One of Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

The UTEP women's golf team is tied for 10th place through two rounds of the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate on Saturday in Palm Desert, Calif.

The Miners shot 314 in the first round and 313 in the second for a total of 627 with 18 holes remaining on Sunday.

Fresno State is in first place among 19 teams (291-289-580).

UTEP's Emma Burman is tied for 26th place (77-76-153), Nathalie Castillo is in 37th place (77-79-156), Camino Sardinero is tied for 51st place (80-79-159), Emma Edin is tied for 57th place (81-79-160) and Maria Velasco is tied for 77th place (80-84-164).
