UTEP Women's Golf Team in Fourth Place at Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate

The UTEP women's golf team is in fourth place after one round of the Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate on Monday in Las Cruces.

The Miners shot 295 as a team to trail Baylor (285), UC Irvine (286) and NM State (289) at the 14-team tournament. The second round will be played on Tuesday and the final round on Wednesday.

Shang-Fan Huang and Ana Pastor are tied for fifth place to lead the Miners, each carding a 71 on Monday. Teresa Nogues is tied for 24th place (75), Liz Sobczak is tied for 32nd place (76), Rosana Gomez is tied for 52nd place (78) and Emma Edin is in 70th place (81).
