UTEP Women's Golf Team Stays in 12th at Price's Tournament

The UTEP women's golf team improved its score on day two of the Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Las Cruces, but the Miners were unable to gain any ground in the team standings.

UTEP is still in 12th place (308-302-610) heading into Wednesday's final round of competition.

Kansas (294-289-583) supplanted Idaho in first place among 13 teams.

UTEP's Emma Edin is in 19th place with a four-over-par 148 (76-72). Maria Velasco (77-76-153) and Nathalie Castillo (76-77-153) are tied for 37th place, Camino Sardinero is tied for 55th place (79-77-156) and Emma Burman is tied for 69th place (80-81-161).

The Miners' Amber Herrera, competing as an individual, is tied for 64th place (84-75-159).
