UTEP Women's Golf Team Drops Two Spots at C-USA

The UTEP women's golf team fell to 12th place on day two of the Conference USA Championship on Tuesday in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Tulane leads the field (281-291-572), with UTSA second (286-292-578), Old Dominion third (297-291-588), FIU fourth (295-295-590), Middle Tennessee fifth (294-297-591), East Carolina sixth (296-296-592), Southern Miss seventh (308-299-607), Tulsa eighth (314-299-613), UAB ninth (310-307-617), Marshall (317-302-619) and North Texas (306-313-619) tied for 10th, UTEP 12th (312-308-620) and Florida Atlantic 13th (316-319-635).

The final round will be played on Wednesday.

Camino Sardinero is tied for sixth place with a one-over-par 145 (73-72) to lead the Miners. She is eight strokes behind individual leader Fabiola Arriaga of UTSA (68-69-137).

UTEP's Emma Edin is tied for 38th place (78-76-154), Emma Burman is tied for 56th place (81-80-161), Amber Herrera is in 58th place (80-82-162) and Alisa Rodriguez is tied for 59th place (83-80-163).
