UTEP Women's Golf Moves Up Three Spots at Wyoming Cowgirl Classic

The UTEP women's golf team rose from eighth place to fifth on day two of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic on Tuesday in Chandler, Ariz.

The Miners followed up their opening-round 301 by shooting 300 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 601. The final round will be played on Wednesday.

Colorado State is in first place (292-292-584) among 24 teams.

UTEP's Camino Sardinero is tied for 11th place (73-75-148), Teresa Nogues is tied for 22nd place (75-75-150), Shang-Fan Huang is tied for 31st place (76-75-151) and Nathalie Castillo (77-77-154) & Emma Burman (79-75-154) are tied for 53rd place.
