UTEP Women's Golf Team Tied For Ninth at UALR Classic

The UTEP women's golf team is tied for ninth place following 18 holes of the UALR Classic on Monday in Hot Springs Village, Ark.

The second round is in progress, but not expected to be completed before nightfall. The tournament will conclude on Tuesday.

The Miners shot 328 as a team in the first round. Missouri State shot 312 to lead the 15-team field.

UTEP's Camino Sardinero is tied for 16th place with an eight-over-par 80. Emma Burman is tied for 33rd place (82), Nathalie Castillo and Maria Velasco are tied for 39th place (83) and Emma Edin is tied for 63rd place (86).
