UTEP Tied For Fourth at Donnis Thompson Invitational
The UTEP women's golf team is tied for fourth place at the Donnis Thompson Invitational in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
The Miners fired rounds of 337 and 336 for a team total of 673 on Tuesday.
Washington State is in first place (310-339-649), Hawaii is in second (340-325-665) and San Francisco is in third (325-343-668) at the nine-team competition.
Gerina Mendoza leads UTEP. She shot 84-79-163 on Tuesday and is tied for fifth place. Jullianne Kim is tied for eighth place (81-83-164), Malin Fryk is tied for 22nd place (86-85-171), Amy Young is tied for 27th place (86-89-175) and Brandi McKnight is tied for 37th place (87-95-182).
The tournament wraps up on Wednesday.
