UTEP Women's Golf Team Tied For Sixth Place at Jim West Challenge

The UTEP women's golf team is tied for sixth place through 36 holes of the Jim West Challenge on Sunday in Blanco, Texas.

The Miners carded rounds of 316 and 325 for a total of 641 on the first day of the tournament. The final round will be played on Monday.

Texas State leads the 12-team field (304-317-621).

UTEP's Nathalie Castillo (77-79-156) and Camino Sardinero (80-76-156) are tied for 11th place. Emma Edin is tied for 32nd place (78-86-164), Emma Burman is tied for 36th place (81-84-165) and Amber Herrera is in 60th place (87-89-175).
