UTEP Women's Golf Team Ties For Eighth at Blue Raider Invitational

The UTEP women's golf team tied for eighth place at the Blue Raider Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday in Nashville, Tenn.
The Miners fired rounds of 311, 311 and 308 for a total of 930. The champion of the 13-team event was host Middle Tennessee State (300-293-293-886).
Shang-Fan Huang carded a 14-over-par 930 (78-77-75) to tie for 21st place and lead UTEP. Emma Edin tied for 25th place (78-77-76-231), Camino Sardinero tied for 31st place (76-78-78-232), Teresa Nogues tied for 41st place (79-79-79-237) and Emma Burman tied for 57th place (80-81-82-243).
The Miners wrapped up their fall season and will next participate in the Wisconsin Invitational Feb. 26-27 in Peoria, Ariz.
