UTEP Women's Golf Team Ties For 11th at Price's Give Em Five Intercollegiate

The UTEP women's golf team tied for 11th place at the Price's Give Em Five Intercollegiate, which concluded on Wednesday in Las Cruces.

The Miners posted rounds of 305, 301 and 302 for a total of 908 at the three-day tournament. Idaho won the 18-team event (871).

Deborah Martinez led UTEP, tying for 12th place with a five-over-par 221 (74-74-73).

Rosana Gomez tied for 23rd place (76-73-75-224), Ana Pastor (79-77-78-234) and Teresa Nogues (81-77-76-234) tied for 64th place, Liz Sobczak tied for 68th place (79-77-79-235) and Stephanie Herrera tied for 77th place (76-78-85-239) for the Miners.
