UTEP Women's Golf Team Grabs 16th Place at UALR Classic

The UTEP women's golf team notched a 16th-place showing at the UALR Classic on Tuesday in Hot Springs Village, Ark.

The Miners shot rounds of 334, 315 and 342 for a total of 991. Middle Tennessee won the 17-team event with a 54-hole tally of 921 (306-311-304).

UTEP's Camino Sardinero tied for 11th place with a 15-over-par 231 (78-73-80). Alisa Rodriguez tied for 62nd place (77-83-87-247), Emma Burman tied for 74th place (88-79-87-254), Emma Edin tied for 80th place (91-80-88-259) and Amber Herrera tied for 83rd place (91-83-88-262).

The Miners will continue their season at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic April 7-8 in Maricopa, Ariz.
