PRIOR TO UTEP: Three-year standout for Eastwood HS, where she helped the squad to a 31-6 mark and a Bi-District title and an appearance in the McDonald's Invitational in 2008 ... two-time All-District performer (2007-08 & 2008-09) while earning honorable-mention all city as a senior as well ... four-time member of school's honor roll and all state and all district academic team ... member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society.
