Played in 33 games, including one start against Southern Miss (1/22) ... earned start after taking a charge in practice ... had a career night against Northern Arizona (11/22), scoring 15 points, pulling down three rebounds and dishing out three assists, all career highs ... was playing with heavy heart in the game due to a tragedy of a mall collapsing in her hometown of Riga, Latvia ... three-point specialist, out of 24 field goals on the year, 20 were from long distance ... registered double digits in playing time in six contests ... had a positive assist to turnover ratio (12a, 10t) ... solid showing against ACC opponent Georgia Tech (12/20), scoring eight points on 3-of-4 shooting ... rarely visited the free-throw line, but cashed in when she did by connecting on 7 out of 8 for a .875 clip.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Standout guard who has played the past two seasons at Seward Community College ... earned All-Jayhawk West second-team honors and WBCA All-America honorable-mention accolades after averaging 11.3 points and 4.4 rebounds as a freshman in 2011-12 ... nailed 65 three pointers, the eighth-highest single-season sum at the school ... hit 46 percent from beyond-the-arc, the second-best connection rate ever at Seward ... tallied 20 double-digit scoring contests, including a season-high 20 points against rival Garden City ... enjoyed a great start to the year as a sophomore, pacing the team in both scoring (15.6) and rebounding (7.6) through five games before sustaining a season-ending injury ... in high school in Latvia she averaged 24.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg and was twice named the Latvian Youth League MVP.
