UTEP Takes 12th at Wolf Pack Classic

The UTEP men’s golf team registered a 12th-place showing at the Wolf Pack Classic on Wednesday in Reno, Nev.

The Miners put together rounds of 287, 300 and 292 for a total of 879. Host Nevada was the team champion (286-285-281-852), edging runner-up New Mexico State (287-281-286-854) and third-place Arkansas (282-289-285-856).

Arkansas’ Matt Bortis won the tournament (69-74-63-206).

UTEP’s Colby Lindsay tied for 17th place (66-74-74-214), Trent Rommann tied for 22nd place (75-71-70-216), Roger Sloan tied for 57th place (71-73-80-224), Chad Keohane tied for 94th place (75-82-77-234) and Mike Goldwater tied for 97th place (78-86-71-235).
