UTEP Men's Golf Team in 24th Place at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

The UTEP men's golf team is in 24th place after one round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Saturday in Palm Desert, Calif. The second round was suspended on account of darkness and will be finished on Sunday. The final round will also be played on Sunday.

The Miners shot 315 over the first 18 holes. UNLV leads the 24-team field, shooting 279.

UTEP's Martin Simonsen is tied for 34th place (73), Jere Pelletier and Ross Rotwein are tied for 104th place (80), Devin Miertschin is tied for 114th place (82) and Luke Ovenden is in 120th place (86).
