UTEP Men's Golf Team Ties for 15th at Wyoming Cowboy Classic

The UTEP men's golf team fired its low round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Tuesday to finish tied for 15th place in the team standings.

The Miners scored 883 as a team with rounds of 292, 305 and 286. Cal State Northridge won the 24-team tournament (841).

UTEP's Devin Miertschin tied for 20th place with a five-under-par 210 (70-77-68). Jerry Castrellon tied for 60th place (74-78-70-222), Tanner Taff tied for 65th place (71-76-76-223), David Persons tied for 87th place (77-74-75-226) and Johnny Duncan tied for 101st place (79-78-73-230).
