The UTEP football team will hold its annual "Fan Appreciation Day" on Saturday (Aug. 18) in the Sun Bowl, followed by the popular "State Farm Miner Powder Puff Expo and Lunch."

Fan Appreciation Day

The 2012 Miners will sign autographs and take pictures with the fans beginning at 11 a.m. in the stadium concourse. The event is free, and complimentary schedule posters will be given away while supplies last.

State Farm Powder Puff Expo and Lunch

The 2012 edition of the popular "State Farm Miner Powder Puff Expo and Lunch" will also be held on Saturday. Admission to the ladies-only event is free.

Attendees can take pictures with coach Mike Price and Miner players at 11 a.m. in the concourse of the stadium in conjunction with "Fan Appreciation Day." An optional tour of UTEP's football facilities will be provided at 11:30 a.m. At noon, coach Price will offer a colorful look at the game of football and this year's Miner team in the Hall of Champions at the Larry K. Durham Sports Center. A complimentary lunch will be provided to the first 60 women who RSVP for the event.
