Davidson Signs NFL Free Agent Deal

EL PASO -  Former Miner James Davidson signed free-agent deals on Saturday.

Davidson signed a free-agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals. The defensive lineman played for the Miners from 2010-13 and compiled 111 stops (41ua/70a) and 8.5 sacks. The Huntsville, Texas native started in all 12 games last season for the Miners and lead the team in sacks and registered a season total of 53 tackles (18ua/35a) which marks a career-best. 

The Miners will kick off the 2014 season on August 30 in Albuquerque, N.M. versus the Lobos.
