UTEP Players Participate in Collegiate All-Star Game

Several former UTEP players saw action in the Texas vs. the Nation Collegiate All-Star Game on Friday night in the Sun Bowl.

The Nation beat Texas, 24-20, before a crowd of 21,528. UTEP's Mike Price was head coach of the Texas team.

UTEP's Reagan Schneider kicked a pair of field goals, from 29 and 46 yards, for the Texas team. Daniel Robinson caught four passes for 65 yards. Troy Collavo tallied five tackles, including a half-tackle for loss, and a fumble recovery. Zach West was credited with two stops, including one for loss. And Bryant Tisdale picked up a tackle and a pass break-up. Aaron King handled the long snapper duties and also recorded one tackle.

The defensive MVP was Cameron Siskowic from the Nation squad, who registered 13 tackles including two for losses. Offensive MVP was Paul Mosley from the Texas team, who finished with seven carries for 37 yards and two TDs. Game MVP honors went to the Nation's Ryan Moore, who reeled in four catches for 60 yards with a pair of scores.

An 11-yard pass from Justin Rascati to Moore broke a 17-17 tie wih 9:25 to go in the game and propelled the Nation squad to the victory.
