Cameron Wierson begins his second season as a member of the UTEP football staff. He doubled as assistant recruiting coordinator and special teams volunteer in the fall of 2010 prior to being elevated to offensive program coordinator. He was an assistant coach at a pair of Arizona high schools - Ironwood Ridge and Catalina Foothills - before beginning his collegiate coaching career as a student assistant/quarterbacks coach at his alma mater, Northwest Missouri State. Wierson played free safety on Northwest Missouri State's 2009 national championship team. He also played at Pima Community College for two seasons (2006-07). He earned his bachelor's degree in Corporate Recreation from NMSU in 2010. |
