Thomas Bio Action 2009 (JUNIOR): A triple threat in the UTEP offense with his running, receiving and passing capabilities ... as a backup quarterback, completed both of his pass attempts for 12 yards ... also ran 14 times for 46 yards and made four catches for 55 yards ... established season-highs for rushing yards (19) versus Buffalo and receiving yards (19) against UAB ... had scoring runs in the season opener (Buffalo) and season finale (Marshall).

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Continued to add some spice to the Miner offense ... played in all 12 games, making two starts at receiver ... also saw time at quarterback, most extensively against New Mexico State when he relieved injured starter Trevor Vittatoe and nearly led the Miners to an improbable victory ... rushed 19 times for 142 yards and two touchdowns versus the Aggies as UTEP suffered a tough 34-33 setback ... in the process, he became only the third Miner quarterback to have a 100-yard rushing game since 1982, joining Shawn Gray (141 yards against Fresno State in '94) and Kevin Ward (three 100-yard games, most recently 109 against Weber State in '83) ...
