UTEP was also tied for 33rd in the country in sacks allowed per game (1.5) ... the Miners averaged 26.0 points and 360.4 yards ... the Miners' 2010 offensive highlights included Trevor Vittatoe becoming the school's all-time passing and total offense leader ... UTEP also had five players with 200+ yards rushing for the first time since 1983 ... named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for posting a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. PRIOR TO UTEP: Joined the Miners after spending one year at Ventura Junior College, where he did not see action ... two-year letterwinner at Buena High School for head coach Justin Berenson ... garnered first team All-Channel League and second-team All-Ventura County honors as a senior ... honorable mention All-League performer as a junior ... also earned a pair of letters in track and field.
