2011 (JUNIOR): Led UTEP in receptions (50), receiving yards (657), receiving TDs (three), and receiving yards per game (54.8) ... clutch player who posted a team-high 24 first-down receptions, with 11 coming on third down ... improved throughout the season, with 455 of his yards and all three of his TD grabs occurring in C-USA action ... had seven receptions for career-best 187 yards at Rice, including a 74-yard catch ... also posted seven catches in the season-opening win against Stony Brook ... registered two kickoff returns for 37 yards and eight punt returns for 82 yards on special teams ... recorded at least two catches in every contest, including a quintet of games with a least five receptions.
PRIOR TO UTEP: Garnered All-California honors as a member of Mt. San Antonio College's 2010 state and national championship team ... the Mounties finished 13-0 ... named Offensive MVP of the state championship game by reeling in six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown ... led the team with 69 receptions for a school-record 1,267 yards (18.4 avg.) and 13 scores ... averaged 97.5 receiving yards per game ... in his first season playing for Mt. SAC (2008) he registered 28 catches for 419 yards (15.0 avg.) with six TDs ... compiled 657 all-purpose yards, including 10 kickoff returns for 212 yards (21.2 avg.) ... sat out the `09 campaign to focus on academics ... one of three Mt. SAC players to join the Miners for the 2011 season, along with quarterback Nick Lamaison and offensive tackle James Martin ... played strong safety and wingback for Glendora High School's 2007 team that finished 9-3 and won the Sierra League championship ... earned All-Southern Section Inland Division defensive honors as a prep senior, when he was credited with 42 tackles (34 solos) and three interceptions for 80 yards ... rushed 30 times for 232 yards (7.7 avg.) with three TDs, and made 14 receptions for 234 yards (16.7 avg.) with three scores as an offensive player in `07 ... also an All-Sierra League baseball player in high school, patrolling center field.
