2012 (JUNIOR): Earned All Conference USA honorable mention accolades after putting up big numbers while starting all 12 games ... paced the Miners in sacks (six for 38 yards) and tackles for losses (7.5 for 40 yards) while recording a team-high tying six quarterback hurries ... it marked the most sacks in a season by a Miner since 2005 ... blocked a field goal in the season opener against No. 4 Oklahoma ... equaled his career high by posting two sacks for a combined loss of 15 yards at Big Ten power Wisconsin ... credited with two QB hurries in the wins over I-10 rival NM State and Tulane ... matched his career high with six tackles in the finale versus Rice ... posted three tackles or more in half of the contests on the campaign.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Led UTEP with five sacks ... also paced the Miners in tackles for losses (eight for 35 yards) and quarterback hurries (seven) ... appeared in all 12 games, starting six times at right end ... had a pair of sacks against Colorado State ... overall recorded 36 tackles, which was aided by two tilts (at USF & at Rice) with six stops ... had two contests with multiple quarterback hurries, including team-best three against Houston.

2010: Sat out the season per NCAA transfer rules.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Transferred to UTEP after playing in 11 games as a true freshman at Louisville ... made five tackles (one solo) for the Cardinals ... standout for coach Lawrence Smith at Baltimore Dunbar High School, and was one of seven players from his squad to sign with a Division I program ... split time between defensive end and linebacker ... was first nationally at the Nike My Better competition with a SPARQ Rating of 162 ... aided Dunbar in winning 24 consecutive games and the school's third straight state title ... was viewed as one of the top prospects in the state ... first team All-State member at DE and was chosen as the Metro Defensive Player of the Year ... racked up a state-record 29 sacks after tallying 17 as a junior in guiding the Poets to the 1A state crown ... team posted an unblemished 14-0 mark, which set a school standard ... reeled in All-Metro honors after posting 133 tackles as a senior ... forced six fumbles and recovered three ... as a junior, recorded 90 stops and 25 TFL ... also earned All-Metro accolades.
