tarted in 10 final games … missed the first two games of the season due to injury … recorded 35 tackles (23s/12a), three tackles for loss, six pass breakups and three quarterback hurries … posted four showings with five or more tackles … registered five unassisted tackles with one tackle for loss and two quarterback hurries versus UTSA …
helped the Miners’ secure a victory against Incarnate Word, contributing five tackles and two quarterback hurries.

2014 (JUNIOR): Played 10 games ... started at cornerback against New Mexico and nationally ranked Kansas State ... registered 10 tackles (7s/3a), a tackle for loss and three quarterback hurries ... opened the season with three tackles (1s/2a) at New Mexico ... registered a season-best two pass breakups in the Miners' victory against Old Dominion ... part of the defensive unit that held UTSA to only two first downs ... did not see the field against Texas Tech, NM State and Southern Miss due to injury ... led team to New Mexico Bowl, its first since 2010.

2013 (SOPHOMORE): Made 11 starts in 11 games played at the cornerback position ... moved to the defensive side of the ball after playing at the wide receiver position during freshman season ... tallied 34 tackles (24s/10a) ... recorded two tackles for losses, a quarterback hurry and three pass breakups ... returned three kickoffs for 53 yards ... posted a season-high five solo stops at North Texas ... tallied five tackles (4a/1a) against UTSA ... posted four tackles each at Colorado State, against LA Tech and Tulsa ... notched three stops and ran back three kickoffs for 53 yards, including a 29-yard return at Middle Tennessee.

2012 (FRESHMAN): Competed in 11 games, starting one at wide receiver ... took in four passes for 72 yards ... had two receptions for 47 yards and a season-long 30-yard catch at Houston ... gained 25 yards on two receptions at Tulsa ... forced a fumble against UCF.

2011: Redshirted.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Texas Top-300 Player by Dave Campbell's magazine ... regarded as a three-star recruit by Scout.com ... first team All-District 15-4A choice as a junior and second team as a senior ... posted 29 receptions for 300 yards and two TDs as a senior ... rushed 36 times for 400 yards with seven scores while playing in only seven games in a season curtailed due to injury ... led Red Oak HS to three straight playoff appearances for the first time ever, and the school's first district title since 1982 ... accumulated 373 yards receiving (31 catches) and 223 rushing (35 carries) as a junior ... voted his team's offensive MVP for the 2010 season ... three-year starter at inside receiver ... four-year letterwinner in track, competing in the sprint relay, mile relay and 200 meters ... A/B honor roll student.
