2016 (SENIOR): Played in 11 contests … played on an offensive line that paved the way for Aaron Jones to rush for a single-season program-record 1,773 yards, while Jones also became UTEP’s all-time leading rusher … Miners averaged 185.5 rushing yards per game and scored 20 touchdowns on the ground … the offensive line yielded 22 sacks (1.83 per game), ranking in the top half of Conference USA … capped season off with a season-high 555 yards of total offense, including a season-best 384 yards rushing (most since 1983) and four scores during a victory against North Texas … opened season with 518 yards of total offense against rival NM State, while rushing for 289 yards … rushed for 323 yards against Houston Baptist … followed with 237 yards rushing at Florida Atlantic.

2015 (JUNIOR): Played in 11 contests, starting six at the right tackle position and one at the left tackle position … played on an offensive line unit that only yielded 12 sacks in 12 games, ranking first in Conference USA in sacks allowed and tied for sixth nationally in sacks allowed per game (1.0) … made first start at rival NM State, where UTEP gained a season-high 542 total yards of offense during the come-from-behind overtime victory over the Aggies … made start against Incarnate Word, as UTEP passed for a season-high 280 yards and a pair of scores during the triumph … started during the victory against Florida Atlantic where the Miners totaled 408 offensive yards, including 271 passing and a trio of touchdowns … made start at left tackle during the win at North Texas. 

Saw action in nine contests on special teams, making one start against Utah State in the New Mexico Bowl ... played at the right guard position against Middle Tennessee.

2013 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in one contest (NM State)... received medical redshirt.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Started at left tackle for Cisco [Texas] College during the 2012 season before transferring to UTEP ... three-year varsity letterwinner for coach Christopher Gilbert at Lancaster High School outside of Dallas ... played nose tackle as a sophomore, right guard as a junior and right tackle as a senior ... earned first team All-District 15-4A and All-Area recognition as a senior ... second team All-District as both a sophomore and junior ... member of a district co-championship team his senior year ... was also a member of the Lancaster track and field team for four years, throwing the discus.
