Played and started in all 12 games at Will linebacker … led the team with 93 tackles (48s/45a), 14.5 tackles for loss (59 yards), 6.5 sacks (41 yards) and two safeties, while adding four quarterback hurries … ranked tied second in C-USA in tackles for loss averaging 1.21 … notched a spot in the UTEP record book, tying ninth all-time for season tackles for loss … checked in as the only underclassman to rate in the top six in the league in sacks … registered career-best 11 tackles versus NM State, Rice, Old Dominion, LA Tech … tallied the second-most tackles for loss in a single contest in C-USA and a career-high five tackles for loss (14 yards) with 1.5 sacks and a safety in an overtime victory over the Aggies … part of the defensive effort that yield a season-low 307 total yards against LA Tech, contributed 11 tackles (four solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback hurry and a safety in the matchup … recorded a three-sack performance for 20 yards against UTSA tying second most in a single game in C-USA … posted eight stops (seven solo) at Southern Miss … registered nine showings with five or more tackles … led the team in tackles in seven matchups during the season … set the most tackles for a UTEP defensive player since the 2012 campaign.

2014 (FRESHMAN):
Played in all 13 games, making 12 starts ... ranked second on the defense with 55 tackles (29s/26a) and 9.0 tackles for loss (27 yards), while recording 1.5 sacks, an interception, three pass breakups and four quarterback hurries ... registered six-plus tackles during five different contests in 2014 ... tallied six stops (four solo) and two tackles for loss during first collegiate game at New Mexico ... recorded career-best seven tackles, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup during first game in the Sun Bowl against Texas Tech ... came up with six stops and tackle for loss during a shutout win at UTSA ... registered five solo stops at Kansas State ... tallied first collegiate sack against Old Dominion and first collegiate interception against Southern Miss (14-yard return) ... recorded five tackles and 0.5 tackle for loss (four yards) against NM State ... registered two solo tackles before leaving game with injury against Middle Tennessee ... posted a fumble recovery against Utah State in the New Mexico Bowl.

PRIOR TO UTEP: First-team All-District 1-4A defensive back and second-team All-District 1-4A quarterback as a senior ... rushed for 950 yards on 80 carries with 20 touchdowns, while passing for 463 yards and seven scores ... helped Burges to a 10-3 record and an area playoff win ... also recorded 83 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles and returned three punts for touchdowns ... played three years of varsity ball ... participated in the Greater El Paso All-Star Game ... won eight consecutive games after taking the signal calling reins ... played with his twin brother, Aaron ... competed on the Burges track and field team ... a member of the 1600m relay state championship team after taking the district title ...
