2012 (JUNIOR): Appeared in two games for the Miners ... injured his ankle early in the year, then returned briefly before sustaining a season-ending concussion at East Carolina... granted a medical redshirt ... had a tackle in the opener versus No. 4 Oklahoma.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 12 games ... made 19 tackles, with 16 coming against league foes ... 13 of his 19 tackles were solo stops ... twice recorded his season-best four tackles versus Southern Miss and UCF ... registered an interception which he returned for 74 yards against Colorado State ... added three pass deflections on the season ... named UTEP's special teams MVP.

2010 (FRESHMAN): Made an immediate impact as a true freshman, appearing in nine games with five tackles ... season-best three stops came versus Rice.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Earned All-District 9-5A honors as a senior at Skyline HS in Dallas ... helped Skyline to a 12-1 season and berth in the state title game ... regarded as a national top-100 cornerback prospect by Scout.com ... totaled 30 tackles, 13 pass break-ups and three interceptions in 2009 ... saw action at three positions (cornerback, quarterback, wide receiver) while making an immediate impact in his only year on the varsity team ... was a part of Skyline's baseball and track & field teams for four years ... three-year member of the student council.
