Six UTEP Men's Basketball Games Picked Up For National Television

Conference USA announced its slate of national television games for the 2009-10 men's basketball season on Friday, and the UTEP Miners will be featured on a minimum of six occasions.

Two UTEP games will air on the ESPN family of networks. The Dec. 21 non-conference matchup versus perennial national power Oklahoma in Oklahoma City will air on ESPN2 at 4:30 p.m. MST. The Miners' home game versus preseason C-USA favorite Tulsa will be televised on ESPN2 on Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. MST.

CBS College Sports will air four UTEP games, beginning with the renewal of an old WAC rivalry with BYU on Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. MST in the Don Haskins Center. Three Miner conference games are on tap for CBS College Sports -- Jan. 20 at Memphis (6 p.m. MST), Feb. 3 versus Houston (8 p.m. MST) and Feb. 20 at Tulsa (2 p.m. MST).

In addition, CBS College Sports will have coverage of the Conference USA Championship quarterfinals on March 11 and semifinals on March 12, and CBS will air the league title game on March 13. CBS College Sports will also carry the Conference USA Men's and Women's Tip-Off Shows on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. MST, featuring previews of all 12 schools.
