Miners Move Up To 11th In National Poll

The UTEP men’s cross country team moved up to 11th in the Mondo Men’s Cross Country Poll as released on Tuesday.

The Miners received 289 votes to improve on their ranking of 13th in last week’s poll. UTEP is currently third in the NCAA Mountain Region behind Colorado (third overall, 461 points) and BYU (fourth overall, 420 points).

Arkansas (473 points) took over Wisconsin (465 points) for the top slot nationally.

UTEP will run next at the Chile Pepper Invitational on Oct. 15 in Fayetteville, Ark.
