TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Junior Risper Kimaiyo crossed the finish line in 25th place, finishing in the top-25 for the third consecutive year in the 2011 Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., on Monday.

"This year's competition was very competitive," head coach Paul Ereng said. "We wanted to bring back two All-American awards but we fell short of that goal. I am very proud of their performance today."

The All-American clocked in a time of 20:12 at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course to improve her time from last year's national meet of 20:16. The Iten, Kenya, native earned her third cross country All-American honor of her career awarded by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Junior Elkana Rotich posted a time of 32:07 to finish 222nd in the 10K race.
