Kimaiyo Claims Crown at 2011 NCAA Mountain Region

All-American Risper Kimaiyo became the first woman in program history to claim back-to-back titles with a time of 20:35 at the 2011 NCAA Cross Country Mountain Regional in Provo, Utah on Saturday.

Kimaiyo Claims Crown at Pre-Nationals

Junior Risper Kimaiyo clocked in the top time of the day in the women's 6K taking first place for the second consecutive year at the 2011 Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. on Sunday.

2010 (Junior): Recorded best finish at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational running to a seventh-place finish with a time of 18:39 ... crossed the finish line at 19:05 at the Kachina Classic for 18th place ... opened the season with a time of 20:08 at the Lobo Invitational for 38th ... clocked in a time of 18:38 at the Conference USA Championships ... competed at the Mountain Regional finishing with a time of 23:07 ... posted a time of 19:53 at the Notre Dame Invitational and 22:53 at Prenationals.

2009 (Sophomore): Finished 30th at the Lobo Invitational with a time of 20:34.32 ... placed 23rd at the Lori FitzGerald Invitational clocking in at 18:22.1 ... finished 38th at the Kachina Classic, 21:06.0 ... placed 79th at the Bill Dellinger Invitational completing the race at 19:43.33 ... clocked in at 24:20.2 at the Pre-National Invitational finishing 236th...61st at C-USA Championship with a time of 20:43.8 ... 130th at the Mountain Region Championship finishing 25:05.7 ... 215th at the NCAA Championship with a time of 25:26.
