Kimaiyo claimed the women's crown at the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Mountain Region Championships.

UTEP will kick of the 2012 campaign on Friday at Lori Fitzgerald Invitational.
The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has named the UTEP men's cross country team a All-Academic team.

2011 (Junior): Received All-Conference USA First Team honors with a silver finish at the conference championships crossing the finish line with a season-best of 23:51.1 ... claimed the Kachina Classic title with a time of 25:21.1 and was named C-USA Athlete of the Week ... finished third overall at the Lobo Invitational and earned athlete of the week honors for the second consecutive week, with a mark of 25:19.9 ... finished 14th at Pre-Nationals with a time of 24:31, earning the league's athlete of the week honor ... represented the men's team at the NCAA Championships and posted a time of 32:07.0 in the 10K run ... clocked in a season-best of 31:03.2 in the 10K at the NCAA Mountain Regional.
2010 (Sophomore):Claimed the league crown with a time of 23:30 to garner the Conference USA Male Athlete of the Year and first team all-conference honors ... took two bronze finishes first at the Kachina Classic, 25:25, and the following week at the Lori Fitzgerald, 20:45 ... opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the UNM Lobo Invitational clocking in a time of 25:14 and earning C-USA Athlete of the Week accolades ... came in 22nd at the NCAA Mountain Regional with a time of 30:26 ... also finished 22nd at the Notre Dame Invitational, 24:20 ... crossed the finish line at 24:19 at the Prenational meet for 37th place and was named the league's athlete of the week for the second time in the season.
