For the second-consecutive year, UTEP’s Mickael Hanany has been voted Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Male Athlete of the Year.

Hanany, a native of Cergy, France, was named the Mountain Region’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Year after earning his seventh NCAA All-American honor by tying for eighth in the high jump at the NCAA Championships.

He swept the long jump, triple jump and high jump at the C-USA Championships for his 13th, 14th and 15th conference titles during his career (nine C-USA titles).

At the conclusion of the conference meet, he was awarded the Performance of the Meet and was the High Point Award winner.
