Nampa, Idaho – All-American Endurance Abinuwa finished 15th in the women’s 400m competition on Friday night at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Jacksons Indoor Track.

“Endurance got out on the first lap, unfortunately Cassandra Tate and Rebecca Alexander from LSU made it difficult for Endurance to go around them and ultimately burned her out,” said assistant coach Scott Roberts. “It certainly wasn’t the results we hoped for, but better days lie ahead for Endurance and the team.”

The senior clocked in a time of 54.50 in the second of four heats, but it wasn’t enough to advance to the finals.

The Miners are set to open the outdoor season at Kidd Field on Saturday, March 24 for the UTEP Springtime.
